Beautiful park on the other side of Hwy 50 from Lake Tahoe. Many sites have a fantastic view of the Lake. Heavily treed park which makes parking a large rig a bit of a challenge but it is possible. Fantastic staff and host. Great laundry facilities. Nice restaurant on the Lake side of Hwy 50 with a pretty view. Access to beach. Just a wonderful place to stay. It reminded us of the way we camped before we got a large motorhome because there were firepits (hard to find today), picnic tables and lots and lots of trees. We camped here in a 36' Motorhome and will return the next time we are in the area!
Only to be used for an overnight stay but I would not do it again. We were the only transient vehicle there. The rest of the park was for permanent residents (they were quiet) but we are not comfortable in that situation. They did have a nice enclosed dog area. No picnic table. There was a swimming pool attached to the Inn that looked OK. We did not use it. We camped here in a Motorhome which was the nicest vehicle in the park.
This is the nicest RV park we have ever stayed in. Courteous staff. Wide, grassy areas by each site with patio tables and chairs. Dog friendly. Totally wonderful in every way! We heard that the park has been sold to developers, however, and will not be around for very much longer. A loss to those of us that enjoy the Bend area.
Absolutely wonderful park! Very friendly staff. They allowed us to extend out check-out time for 2 hours. Beautiful grassy areas at each site with gorgeous mountain views. Dog friendly, too. Would stay here again if we are in the area.
Nice, quiet, and very clean park. Sites are close together but most have shade trees that offer more privacy. Clean laundry facilities and very nice dog area. Nicest park in the area and close to many tourist sights.
